Sean T. Casey is the executive director of Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency (GVRA), leading the organization in its mission to serve individuals with disabilities on the path to career success and greater independence.
An experienced public servant committed to all Georgians, Sean previously held a role as the Department of Administrative Service’s assistant commissioner of government affairs. He has also served as the deputy commissioner of the Department of Revenue and worked in Governor Nathan Deal’s Office and the Governor’s Office of Planning and Budget.
Sean’s service on behalf of the organization extends back to 2012, when he led a team that worked to pass legislation creating GVRA. He remains committed to innovative strategies to maximize work opportunities for people with disabilities. Sean’s philosophy is that the client is always first, followed a close second by the counselors and other field staff who serve them. Sean attended Hiram College.
