Mandy Harvey is a deaf American singer-songwriter and motivational speaker. While attending Colorado State University as a vocal music education major, Mandy lost her residual hearing at the age of 18 due to a neurological disorder.
She pursued several career options, including education, but returned to music. She quickly became a regular performer and has carried her positive messages of hope and “making your dreams real” to some of the most prestigious clubs, concert stages, and festivals around the country. She’s released three discs: All of Me (2014); After You’ve Gone (2010); Smile (2009).
Mandy was featured on CNN’s Great Big Story, which captured over 6 million hits on social media. Burt’s Bees signed her up for their remarkable women’s campaign, and NBC Nightly News has profiled her.
As a spokesperson for No Barriers USA and Invisible Disabilities Association, Mandy travels the country to heighten awareness, break down blocks, challenge stereotypes, and lead the charge toward a brighter future for all.
