Kim Osmani is an Extension Associate at Cornell University’s Yang-Tan Institute. She serves as a team member on three projects—the Vocational Rehabilitation Youth Technical Assistance Center (Y-TAC); the Office of Disability and Employment Policy (ODEP) Youth Policy Development Center; and the New York State Consortium for Advancing and Supporting Employment (CASE).

Kim provides technical assistance, training, and support to states. She has extensive experience working with youth with disabilities. She first worked as a special education teacher for 10 years, then as an Associate State Director of Special Education Services at the Oklahoma State Department of Education, and finally as the Statewide Transition Coordinator for the Oklahoma Department of Rehabilitation Services. She holds two master’s degrees in special education and educational administration, and recently earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Special Education with an emphasis on secondary transition at the University of Oklahoma.
