What’s in It for Me?

We’ve been working hard the past few weeks to complete the training and presentation schedule for getAwareLive! We understand budgets and resources are tight, and we’ve developed a conference program that strongly benefits our customers and others in the VR community.

The value-packed schedule includes two days of Aware training, plus two days of educational conference breakout sessions. Training topics are focused on getting as much content to Aware users in two days as possible! The training’s are focused on relevant subjects like WIOA, specifically how to administer and use Aware under this new regulation. Training topics include optimizing staff security for WIOA and leveraging Aware Analytics for WIOA performance measures.

The following two days of conference bring even more education and industry discussions. The line-up of breakout speakers includes VR and Workforce agency representatives from around the nation. Leaders in the industry will be speaking on WIOA state-wide implementation, workforce partnerships, data sharing for WIOA and the importance of accessibility. You’ll leave with practical tips that can be implemented immediately at your agency. Find the full agenda online and available for download here.

Additionally, our keynote speakers were chosen based on their ability to inspire all of us to do greater things in VR. Janet LaBreck, former Commissioner Rehabilitation Services Administration, and Scott B. Sanders, current Executive Director at National Association of State Workforce Agencies (NASWA) will be sharing their leadership perspectives.

We’ve put together a fact sheet that highlights the value of the conference as well as provides details on the cost for budget justification.
